Our Story

Barış Kereste's story with wood began in 1957 with the craftsmanship of Hidayet Barış. Producing wooden truck beds in its early years, the company grew through a mastery passed down from generation to generation, never compromising on workmanship or material.

In 1980, as the second generation stepped in, production shifted to wooden flooring and paneling; with log-cutting and timber-drying techniques, it became a pioneering brand in Kocaeli. In 2001, the WOODPAN brand was founded, producing solid panels with finger joint technology.

Today WOODPAN exports to 7 countries through 135 sales points across Türkiye; we produce solid and custom panels from softwoods such as pine and spruce and hardwoods such as beech, oak, sapele and iroko. With our WOODPELLET brand, we also offer high-calorific, eco-friendly biofuel solutions.
